There are three tabs, so you can choose “File Extract/Convert to ISO”, “CD/DVD Disk to ISO” or “Folder to ISO”. As you can see, every single tab comes with self-explanatory names, again making everything quite easy even for the very beginners.
All you have to do is browse to the file that you want to create an ISO from and select a location to save it as an ISO. Click convert when you're done and that's it. Supported File Types. The following table contains the list of all CD/DVD and archive image formats that can be extracted or converted to ISO using AnyToISO.
File format (extension) - Format description 7Z - 7Z archive B5I/B6I is a disc image created with BlindWrite version 5 and 6. BIN is a disk image format, supported by programs like Roxio Toast, NTI Dragon Burn, Roxio Easy Media Creator, Golden Hawk Technology CDRWin, Daemon Tools, IsoBuster, EZB Systems UltraISO. CDI is a disc image created using DiscJuggler. Supported by Padus DiscJuggler, EZB Systems UltraISO, IsoBuster, PowerISO. CPIO CPGZ CPBZ2 - Linux CPIO archives and its compressed variants. DAA - PowerISO compressed image. The format is completely proprietary, the image can be password protected (encrypted) and split into multiple volumes (currently not supported by AnyToISO). DEB - Debian (Ubuntu) Linux image, compressed format. DMG - Apple Macintosh OS X Disk Copy Disk Image File, uses compression and encryption. When converting some DMG file to ISO, please note that the resulting ISO is of HFS+ file system (Apple). GBI - gBurner compressed image. The format is completely proprietary, the image can be password protected (encrypted) and split into multiple volumes. IMG - CloneCD CD/DVD disc image file; FAT32/FAT16 IMG disk images (extract only). ISO - Extract CD/DVD optical disk image. Currently supported file systems are ISO9660 (including Joliet), HFS+, UDF and Microsoft XBOX. ISZ - UltraISO image, can be compressed and/or encrypted (password protected), completely supported by AnyToISO. Segmented images are supported as well. MDF - Disc image created using Alcohol 120% program. NRG is a disc image created with Nero Software (Nero Burning ROM). You can also extract AudioCD NRG images into individual .wav files. PDI - Image created by the InstantCopy program (a part of Pinnacle Instant CD/DVD Suite). PKG - Mac OS X Installer package. RAR - WinRAR hi-compression archive. RAR5 format is also supported. RPM - Compressed Linux image (RedHat/Madriva/Fedora/Suse and others). TAR.GZ GZIP TAR.BZ2 TGZ TBZ2 TAR.XZ - Linux TAR and any of its compressed variants. UIF is a CD/DVD image file created using MagicISO program. This format supports compression and password protection. XAR archive used in macOS starting from 10.5 for software installation routines. ZIP archive, the most popular archive format in the world.
